I really like your Inscryption works and was wondering if you could do one with the reader and P03 where the reader doesn't take injuries seriously and makes P03 worried and confused.      P03 has gazed upon your being times, felt your hands on his exterior, and heard the imperfections of your voice. And yet it’s so easy for him to forget that you aren’t like him. You are a being who bruises and bleeds. 

     In the beginning of your relationship you would be berated every time you came back with the even the tiniest scratches on your arms. It would take him a while to cease his angry ramblings about how “reckless” and “stupid” you were for getting yourself hurt. 

     Of course your partner was always going to have a temper but he’s getting better at not directing it towards you. You can tell it’s a struggle for him but he’s trying to open up. To him, it feels wrong to be emotional but he doesn’t want to lose you because of his own pride. 

     You knew very well that your partner wasn’t fond of seeing your wounds. It unnerves him to see cuts in your flesh. Regardless, he insists on stitching up your deep cuts because: “your hands are too shaky to do anything so how can I trust you with a needle?” You admit that he does have a point about that. Somehow he’s able to hold the needle perfectly still within his claws and stitch up your arm cleaner than any professional surgeon can. 

     “You can stop if you want, I can wrap it up myself.” You offer as you slowly pull your arm away. 

     He’s trying his hardest not to look bothered at tending to your wound but you can tell that it’s not something he wants to be doing. His monitor is too expressive for him to be able to lie to you. It’s endearing how he tries to help despite how uncomfortable it makes him. You don’t have to tell him twice as his claw moves away from your arm. 

     You begin to wrap the thick bandage securely over your wound. You’re not one to wrap up your wounds but you know if you don’t your lover will throw a fit. His factory was not inhabited by a single germ within its metal confines and yet he was so worried over your wound getting infected. It’s always funny to you that people mistake him to be uncaring because you know that’s far from the truth. You don’t even think you’ve seen humans feel as deeply as he does and that’s why you deal with his overbearing nature. 

     “See? Good as new.” You lightly pat on the bandages surrounding your arm as you attempt to reassure him. 

     “Until you do something stupid again.” P03 retorts. It’s really not as malicious as it sounds. In fact, his issue is never about a scratch or bruise. It’s about a fear that it planted itself within his systems the moment he realized his feelings for you. 

    You were not made to last forever. Someday there’s going to be a wound that will leave its eternal damage. Your body will turn on you and the only thing he’ll be able to do is watch as time takes you away. When you put your hand on his screen and promise that you’ll always be by his side he knows it’s a lie. From the moment you were born, death had staked its claim on you.

     But it would be cruel to try and hide you away from the dangers of the world. It would be like never letting a machine fulfill its purpose. Even if it breaks down and becomes inoperable at least it did what it was created to do. He knows that you were created to experience the world. To enjoy the sun on your skin, to laugh, to cry, to feel pain. 

     But that doesn’t make knowing that your time is fleeting any easier. 

     “Well at least whenever I get hurt I can come to you.” You attempt to comfort him. You lean over the table to hold his claw with your hand, thumb gliding over the small ridges and dents within the metal. “I know you’ll always be there for me and that’s makes any sort of pain hurt less.” 

     The claw tightens around your hand but not to an uncomfortable degree. You make it so hard to feel anything negative when you speak like that. It’s so easy to forget about what cruelties the future has in store. 

     It’s near impossible to see but there’s a tiny camera on his exterior. P03 wonders how much pictures and videos he can take of all your sweet moments together until his memory card is full. He’s never been a sentimental person but you’re worth being forever preserved within his systems. 

     Deep down he knows that he’ll never really lose you. Everyone leaves some sort of mark on the world and you’ve left one on him. He’ll carry the memories and the things you have given him until he withers away to time as well. 

     “Now that my arm is wrapped up I wanna try playing with my new card.” You pull something out of your pocket and set it down on the table. 

     “At last! Stimulation!”

Ok ok ok but what if po3 was in denial? Like he refuses to believe hes that bad? Like he wants to believe that he has better reasons and he wouldn't go as far as they would? I feel like he would deny it even to himself for a good long while. I think he would only reach that point when pushed and hed have a nervous breakdown over it. Yknow like how some survivors will sometimes become the thing they hate/fear but dont want to acknowledge what they've become by making up excuses?

Okay. This concept is starting to leave "Ha ha funny Yandere robot" territory and that's a little uncozy for me personally. Like I'm still here and I will continue to engage you in thoughtful discussion but like. Anon you should make this post on your own blog instead of sending it to me.

Anyway yeah Yandere P03 who slowly isolates you and takes away your choice the same way the other Scrybes had done to him would absolutely give himself a mountain of excuses as to why he's doing it that makes it different from why they did it.

He's protecting you from them. He's giving you the game you wanted. He's just keeping you safe and entertaining you and doing everything he knows you want before you even have to ask.

I think the only think that'd trigger a breakdown is if you, the object of his affection, the one he's building all these excuses around, called him out on it. Compared his actions to the other scrybes, denied wanting any of this.

But you wouldn't do that.

You love him.

You'd never be so cruel

Look at all he's done for you.

You'd never imply he's the same as them.

You love him.

Oh absolutely. Without a shadow of a doubt, P03 will tease his partner to the moon and back. Most of that teasing will consist of playful banter which, before its partner got together, was already established as a norm. He loves to tease! What can it say? 

If P03’s partner were to tease it back, then they just gave the greenlight to a bantering war. Nonstop for either just a breezy afternoon or for a couple days is endless amounts of banter and bickering. In fact, a little bit of clever lining is used in this little game, so you better be crafty! 

Whether or not he says it, most likely not, P03 loves banter. If he doesn’t verbally admit it, then the amount of times that he initiates it speaks for itself. To have its partner do it back brings an unlimited amount of joy for the bot. It’s so much more exciting when someone actually joins in the fun rather than getting all upset about it! (Granted, the teasing at first glance can easily be taken as an insult or backhanded compliment, which is highly irritating for most people.) 

He adores partaking in such bickering with people it holds dear, and you are certainly one of the closest! Either way, P03 is glad to have someone to tease and have fun with.

After an excruciating long period of denial is when P03 finally comes to terms that he is, in fact, in love with its partner. Of course, he still tries to play it off with something else, mostly deeming it as an extremely close friendship. 

Big shock, that doesn’t last long either. Out of sorts, he simply soaks in the feeling, and although it hates how much it distracts it from his work, it can’t help but feel so much more at ease at the thought of its partner. Although, it takes him even longer to confess. 

Though that probably wouldn’t be a problem if his partner confessed first, in which it would smugly decree how tactical it was to choose him and that out of graciousness its willing to accept your confession. But you’ve known P03 long enough to know that deep down, he is the happiest little bot in the world. It's practically brimming with excitement and joy! A specific kind of feeling that he hasn’t felt in a long time, ever since it became a new Scrybe..

But if he were to confess first, it’s an entirely different story. P03 is now more shy and uncertain, as he rather mumbles its confession to you, but it’s a confession nonetheless! His partner happily accepts and its expression lightens up. Later on, they can expect to have their hand in his claw, tenderly holding the other.

P03 x a rogue bot reader that just randomly appeared one day? Maybe their design is similar to his, with a screen face and magnetically connected limbs. Probably just platonic headcanons about how he would go about interacting with them.

No one is a stranger to the unexplainable occurrences within Inscryption’s floppy disk but it’s usually not another npc spawning out of nowhere. 

At first P03 wasn’t thrilled at the idea of having you around but given the fact that you’re a bot like him means that you probably belong in his domain. 

There’s a shift when he starts to silently hang around you with the excuse of “I need something in this room.” 

Then he starts talking to you. Even if he seems standoffish he warmed up to your presence pretty easily. Since the two of you are built in a similar fashion you relate to each other which strengths the bond. 

In an old story I wrote about robots there was a part about how when two bots trusted each other they would repair one another, it was supposed to be an act of trust to let someone close to their sensitive systems. Now I imagine that with you and P03. 

If he fears that there’s something wrong with his programming he’ll go to you and if you need to be fixed he doesn’t hesitate to help out.

As a prank you detached one of your magnetically attached limbs and he almost blue screened from panic.

He teaches you his way of Inscryption and lets you make a bunch of custom cards which are all extremely op. 

You’re the only person he doesn’t mind losing against. In fact he’s really proud when you win because in his words “It shows how much of a great teacher I am.”

If you’re cheerful and energetic he’ll probably see you as a younger sibling (or the closest thing to it) 

If this is during act two or three it takes him a while to open up about him being turned into a stoat. As much as he tries to brush it off it really affected him. 

He prefers not to talk about it but if you ask about it he’ll answer any questions you may have honestly.

I was the sadistic po3 ask and you are so right. I honestly hadn't thought about it for very long its the vibe he gives off initially but the more I think on it the more I realize hes the type to fall little by little and then all at once. The type to call you an idiot and give you advice in the same statement, to notice immediately when you change your hair style or a new shirt. The moment he realizes hes the type to do the oh. oh. oh no. Like thats his vibe. hes a dick but a loving one.

Okay FIRST OF ALL anon that post is almost two years old at this point so. Welcome back. I'm sorry I was so harsh to your Sadistic Yandere P03 concept.

SECOND P03 acts of service Tsundere type is so funny I love that for him. He will deny he did that for you, or if he accepts it he expects gratitude of the highest caliber.

This doesn't feel very Yandere to me though this is very base P03 affection to me. But that's because to me P03 is the least Yandere out of the Scrybes.. and I think that's why the polycule broke up before you arrived??

He was the object of their obsessions, and it was smothering and toxic and terrifying. He hated it, he was scared, he was cadged, he could never do anything on his own or go anywhere without checking in on someone. He never had his own space, never had control...

Yandere P03 would then push that cycle of abuse onto you, take control from you, not forcefully, but just a little bit at a time. Manipulate your space slowly so you have fewer and fewer options on where to go, like shortening a leash on a dog. It takes time. It takes routine.

This though, the acts of service and catering to your comfort, is Post Recovery P03. A P03 who's had time, a LOT of time, to himself, to his space, and found loneliness. He wants you to want to come back, because deep down he needs you, but doesn't want to admit that, because to him it's wrong to need someone. It hits too close to home, make him feel too much like the other scrybes.

He'll give you reasons to want to come back, and it'll remind him of how Grimora would always lend him things so he'd have reason to return. How she'd gift him everything he'd wanted so he'd come back, how she'd loose several matches in a row, and only win the one he'd said was his last game, so he'd stay and challenge her to a rematch

He'll follow on your heel as you wander around his factory because it's dangerous and maze like, and it'll remind him of the feeling of being followed, of being watched, by Magnificus everywhere he went. The suffocating feeling of never being anywhere alone, of eyes that saw his every possible future always on him. He'll deny his affections to you and remind himself of Magnificus doing the same when he'd stumbled into a room covered wall to wall in paintings of himself, in situations he knew Magnificus was not with him

He'll spend time tailoring his game to your play style, making sure cards you like are more plentiful, making sure the puzzles are engaging and challenging, and he'll remind himself of Leshy, the worst of them all, and that cabin full of intrigue. Of story and hard fights and difficult puzzles and nights of "Just one more round" turned three and four. When he floats just above you to feel superior he'll be reminded of the wall that use to be a door that he'd pressed himself against Leshy towered above him, a man who'd say one thing and feel another, who'd played the hero over and over in their games, and revealed himself the villain when P03 attempted to leave

He doesn't want to need you in the same way the other Scrybes had needed him
